Commissioner Looney is a multi-generational native of the Natural State, a life-long resident of Mississippi County, and the recipient of the 2018 Outstanding Citizen Award presented by the AR House of Representatives. After dedicating 42 years of her life to the education of our youth in both Blytheville and Leachville schools, Ms. Looney now spends her time managing her farm operation and investing in the improvement of our communities through service on several county and local committees, including the Mississippi County EOC Board and Executive Committee. In the past, Commissioner Looney has served as a State Delegate and the first Vice Chair of the Mississippi County Republican Party.
Additionally, she and her late husband, Bob Looney, were prominent stewards of their community, serving as local business owners for more than 20 years.
