1998 - December 2016, Manager, Southern Minerals, Weyerhaeuser Company, Hot Springs, AR Manage mineral businesses on a 7.1 million acre estate (3.7 mineral and 3.4 surface) in 11 states (AL, AR, GA, LA, MS, NC, OK, SC, TN, TX and VA). Responsible for establishing/implementing hard mineral business strategy as well as financial management (P&L), technical evaluation, exploration, marketing, agreement negotiation and contract management. Responsible for advising/supporting other energy products businesses (oil/gas, wind and geothermal). Responsible for evaluating mineral potential of the estate, significant acreage acquisitions/dispositions and trades as well as assignment/negotiation of mineral reservations.
