General Description

This publication describes the geology of about 182 square miles in Johnson, Logan, and Franklin Counties in northwestern Arkansas. Also, information is provided pertinent to the exploitation of mineral resources in the study area, particularly coal, natural gas, building stone, crushed stone, sand and gravel, and clay.
