General Description

This report presents the story of the discovery of the Schuler field, located in western Union County, and the subsequent development of multiple production horizons. This reservoir was the first in Arkansas to be unitized, the first to use gas injection to maintain reservoir pressure, and the first to use water injection for pressure maintenance. Total production during 50 years of operations through December 31, 1986 has been over 107 million barrels of oil.
